Healthcare & Medical Technologies Virtual Business Mission to Singapore and Indonesia

Demographic trends such as aging population and increased affluence are expected to fuel demand for better quality healthcare, contributing to the growth of South East Asia’s medical devices and Medical technology (Medtech) market. The medical device market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 10% by 2020 while the Medtech market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 4.1% between 2014 and 2020.

A contingent of European companies specialising in Healthcare and Medical Technologies will take part in a virtual business mission to explore collaborations with local partners in one of Asia's largest tradeshow, Medical Fair Asia 2020.

In this Mission, on 8 December, the South-East Asia IP SME Helpdesk’s External Experts - Ms. Wai Yeng Chan and Ms. Evi Triana will be representing the Helpdesk to deliver a 15-minnutes Presentation exclusively focusing on the key IPR messages that the EU companies should be aware of when doing business in Singapore and Indonesia, respectively. 

Furthermore, on 10-11 December, Ms. Wai Yeng Chan and Dr. Marta Bettinazzi along with the SEA IP SME Helpdesk’s Team Members will attend the B2B Meetings & provide 1:1 Consultations on how to protect and enforce IP rights in SEA/ Singapore/ Indonesia for EU Companies.
