1. EVENT DETAILS:
Schulz Noack Bärwinkel (SNB) Law, the South-East Asia IPR SME Helpdesk and OAV cordially invite you to the webinar "Producing or Sourcing in Vietnam — Legal Considerations and Best Practices for your China+1 Strategy”.
Vietnam is considered by many foreign investors as an ideal location to reduce production costs and diversify their supply chain in Asia: its attractive geographical location, lower minimum wages compared to China and Thailand, and a strong network of free trade agreements.
Under the European Union — Vietnam Free Trade Agreement, Vietnamese products can enter the EU at significantly lower tariffs. Yet when shifting production or sourcing from China to Vietnam, foreign investors need to take differences in the legal frameworks into account and ensure protecting their intellectual property rights in Vietnam.
We are delighted to invite you for our webinar with two experts covering the following topics:
- ‘Made in Vietnam’ — Legal and IP Considerations when Shifting Supply, Assembly or Production from China to Vietnam, by Dr. Jörg-Michael Scheil, Partner and Attorney-at-Law with Schulz Noack Bärwinkel, Shanghai and Ho Chi Minh City.
- Brief overview about IP registration costs and timeline, tips & tricks (NDA, PCT etc.) including case studies, by Dr. Marta Bettinazzi, IP Business Advisor, South-East Asia IPR SME Helpdesk.
